Push Notifications, in the Redsys plugin since version v18, allows us to immediately know of any incidents that arise in our e-commerce.
To obtain them, we must register with Catapush, a service that will be free for you for 12 months, and after this time, it will only cost you $0.02 per month per account with unlimited notifications.
1.- First, we will register at register
2.- It will send us an email to activate the account
3.- We follow the link and it will redirect us to the control panel. If it doesn’t, it will offer us a link to access.
Once inside, we will see that Catapush Messenger is already showing in the panel. That’s what we are interested in. We will click on “View Panel”
4.- By clicking on View Panel, we will see a piece of information that interests us, Catapush Messenger Appid:
5.- We must enter this information in the plugin configuration. WooCommerce > Settings > Redsys Push Notifications
6.- Then we will go to Backend API and obtain the API key
7.- We must also enter this API key in the plugin configuration.
8.- And finally, we must enter the phone number to which we want the notifications to arrive. It must start with the country code, that is, if it is from Spain, it should start with 34 followed by the phone number, for example 34666666666
Do not activate it yet, as your number does not yet exist in Catapush.
9.- Now we must download the application on our mobile. We will download the version for Android, the version for iPhone or for Huawei
10.- Once installed on our device, we only need to log in with the account we created at the beginning and we will be able to activate the Push Notifications in the plugin.
From this moment on, you will be alerted to any problems that arise in a sale.
