New 9.0.x branch of the Redsys gateway for WooCommerce from WooCommerce.com
Branch Versions
9.0.0
Added:
- Added the “Bank Transfers” option from Redsys. From now on, if your bank allows bank transfers through Redsys, you can enable them. Generally, only transfers within the same bank are allowed, meaning if, for example, you have a bank transfer with CaixaBank, only another CaixaBank customer can make the transfer to you.
What is the difference with the default option in WooCommerce? It’s quite simple, if the transfer is made through Redsys, the order will be marked as paid in WooCommerce. Exactly how it works. It’s quite simple, if the person who needs to make the transfer is from your same bank, when they reach Redsys they will have the option to click on the link (which I show you in the next screenshot) and will be redirected to online banking. Once there, they just need to accept the transfer, as everything will be configured automatically (amount to transfer, SWIFT, IBAN, beneficiary, etc). Once they accept to make the transfer, Redsys will notify WooCommerce that the order has been paid.
This is the screen they will find upon reaching Redsys:

What happens if the transfer is not made?
Well, when returning to the store, you will see this message:

And in the order administration, it will remain marked as pending transfer:

- Added a check on the checkout page that if a terminal is in test mode, a notification will be shown so you don’t put the store live and forget to uncheck working in test environment. This way, you won’t find yourself sending your customers to the test environment.

- Declared compatibility with WooCommerce 4.2
Fixed:
- Fixed the text in the settings where it indicated where to find the logs of the gateways.
9.0.1
Improved:
- The notifications at checkout that the gateway is in test mode have been improved. It was always shown when the test option was active. Now it is shown only if the test option is active and the gateway is active to be displayed at checkout.
Fixed:
- Due to a change in the Webservice, a field was causing issues with the signature, so subscription renewals were failing. This has been fixed in this version.
9.0.2
Improved:
- The validity check of the tokens has been improved
