New version 5.4.1 of the Redsys gateway for WooCommerce from WooCommerce.com
In this new version, I fixed a problem and added CSS on the front to hide the option to select Redsys as the option to add a new card in “My account”
I had to add this CSS because after much research and talking with the WooCommerce core team, they did not provide a solution for gateways via redirection, as is the case with Redsys.
In the future, when Redsys InSite is more mature and PSD2 is already being applied, it can be implemented in the real terminal (it cannot be done yet), I will add it to the plugin and it will be possible to use it to add new cards.
The fix affects payments via token (payment by reference). When a payment is for an amount of “0”, either due to a 100% discount coupon or because a subscription has a trial and the merchant has a user token, if the merchant already has a user token, it cannot be sent to Redsys, as Redsys does not accept Token equal to 0. Now, when the payment to be made is 0 and a token exists, the user will not be sent to Redsys and the order will be marked directly as paid.
If you do not yet have the official WooCommerce.com extension for Redsys, you can acquire it at this address and enjoy all the features that no other plugin offers.
If you are not familiar with everything it offers, you can check this table where I show the differences and you will see that the premium surname of this plugin is for everything it offers and differentiates.
