New version 5.3.1 of the Redsys gateway for WooCommerce from WooCommerce.com
In this new version of the premium Redsys plugin for WooCommerce, I have made a fix and a “solution” for those who use one-click payment and Redsys does not send them all the necessary fields.
Also, internally I have made some adjustments so that users coming from using the plugin from modulosdepago.es can use the saved tokens and then migrated through the script I have prepared. This has been something that I have been asked for a lot lately. More information at this entry
The fix consists of the fact that under certain circumstances, the renewals of subscriptions controlled by the Subscriptions plugin were not charged. This error has been corrected.
Regarding one-click payment. WooCommerce needs three things to work correctly (expiration date, card type, and masked card number), but Redsys does not send all the data by default, which causes the token not to be saved. Until now, an email was sent to notify the administrator of this problem, and the token was not saved (due to not having all the data). Starting from this version, the email will continue to be sent, but false data will be added to any data not sent by Redsys. Logically, the only data that will not be saved as false is the token itself; if the token is not sent, nothing can be saved.
If you still do not have the official extension from WooCommerce.com for Redsys, you can purchase it at this address and enjoy all the features that no other plugin offers.
If you do not know everything it offers, you can check this table where I show the differences and you will see that the premium surname of this plugin is for everything it offers and differentiates.
