ATTENTIONThe reason for this is that there is a bug in WooCommerce.com and a version higher than 9 cannot be released at this time.
They are working on it, but they couldn’t tell me when it would be fixed, so I decided to release this new version as 9.1.0
New 10.0.x branch of the Redsys Gateway for WooCommerce from WooCommerce.com
Branch versions
10.0.0 (9.1.0)
Added:
- Added InSite. From now on, your customers will not have to leave the site to pay. WARNING, it is not yet compatible with Tokenization and/or WooCommerce Subscriptions, this will be added in future versions.
But what is InSite? InSite is the payment system that Redsys has so that your customers can buy without leaving the site. They will only leave the site if the person who is paying must pass a Challenge, i.e. enter an SMS that is sent to them, secret key, etc.
In principle InSite is active for all terminals, but virtually no terminal is properly configured to work with InSite.
If you want to use InSite, you must go to Redsys and log in, then go to “Shops” and click on the eye of the terminal you want to consult. There you will see a section that says “InSite domains allowed”.
You must make sure that the domains where you want to use InSite, are listed here. If nothing comes up (which is what usually happens), you should ask to add them, as you will not be able to do so.
If you wish to test the domains, you will need to put the test domains in the test terminal as well.
Once you have the domains configured, you can test them and configure them to your liking (colours, text, etc from the InSite configuration page in WooCommerce). As long as you do not have the domain(s) added, when you try to pay you will get “Error” on the screen where you should get the fields for payment.
If you have any problems or doubts, you can open a WooCommerce.com ticket identified with the user who has the associated license.
10.0.1 (9.1.1)
Fixed:
- In the 10.0.0 (9.1.0) release, with so many problems with the WooCommerce.com bug, I got lost and forgot to uncomment a couple of lines in the main file, so InSite was not activated in the WooCommerce administration. A thousand apologies.
If you still do not have the official WooCommerce.com extension for Redsys, you can purchase it here and enjoy all the features that no other plugin offers.
If you do not know everything it offers, you can look at this box where I show the differences and you will see that the premium name of this plugin is for everything it offers and difference.
