New version 6.0.0 of the Redsys Gateway for WooCommerce from WooCommerce.com
I have created a channel in Telegram so that you can be informed of all the news and updates both of Redsys and my plugins for Redsys. It would be important that you sign up since Redsys is the basis of your shop, the payment. You can sign up at this address https://t.me/wooredsys
This is a larger version
A larger version means that important new features are added to the version, in this case;
Added:
- Bizum compatible with Let’s Encrypt. From now on, you can use Bizum if you have it activated in your terminal. You only need to go to the Redsys configuration, activate Bizum to activate the Bizum configuration. Once you have done so, you will be able to access Bizum’s configuration.
- Added compatibility with the WooCommerce Deposit plugin. Only the redirection (with tokenization) of all the different payment methods added by the premium plugin is currently supported, i.e. neither Iupay nor Bizum. In the future I will add support for these as well. It should be noted that my Redsys plugin is the only payment gateway plugin (I’m not talking only about Redsys) that is 100% compatible with the WooCommerce Deposits plugin. What this compatibility does is that it adds the possibility of charging the remaining cost using the user’s saved token. This way you don’t depend on the user to make the transfer to charge the rest. My premium plugin is the only one that adds this functionality as it is not within the Deposits Core.
Improved:
- Now all Websrvice connections are forced to be unchecked. That means that banks that respect the “DS_MERCHANT_DIRECTPAYMENT” field won’t need to disable 3DSecure for the use of subscription tokens. Again, this does not work for all banks and some may need to continue to request deactivation of 3DSecure.
- Now, when new tokens are created, those tokens are always marked as “Default”. This is because under some circumstances, which I have not really been able to play on my servers, some tokens were saved without being marked as Default (which theoretically WooCommerce already does) and there were problems with the Subscriptions plugin.
Fixed:
I’ve fixed an issue where the Widget code to add cards, in some version, stopped loading, AND fixed this issue, and the Widget to display the cards is displayed again.
Since I don’t have Bizum in my terminal, two people from the WordPress community, Fernando J. Fernandez and Mariano Perez, who have the web site https://101vinosconencanto.es/ are leaving me the development site for the implementation of the Bizum gateway. So I am very thankful that they have left it to me, since this way you will all be able to enjoy all the improvements that I will be implementing over the next few weeks.
If you still do not have the official WooCommerce.com extension for Redsys, you can purchase it here and enjoy all the features that no other plugin offers.
If you don’t know everything it offers, you can look at this box where I show the differences and you will see that the premium name of this plugin is for everything it offers and difference.
